Warta Kema—On Tuesday (30/09), K-POP group TOMORROW X TOGETHER, also known as TXT, announced their new partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to support the mental well-being of young people worldwide.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER, read as Tomorrow by Together, is a boy group under BIGHIT MUSIC that debuted on March 4th, 2019, with a mini album titled “The Dream Chapter: Star.” With the motto “coming together under one dream to build a new tomorrow,” the quintet comprises members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huenin Kai. The group is known for their youthful sound and dreamlike concepts, garnering plentiful attention from their debut. Undoubtedly, with their current discography and endeavors, they are K-pop’s biggest rising stars.
The partnership was launched at an event at UNICEF Headquarters in New York City. TOMORROW X TOGETHER discussed their motivation and expectations for collaborating with a group of young leaders from UNICEF’s network.
Under the theme “Together for Tomorrow”, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will mobilize its expanding worldwide fan base to encourage candid discussions about mental health and help young people develop the social and emotional skills they need to succeed, feel empowered to speak up, and get support because growing up can be a challenging time. Children and young people say that they often experience stigma when speaking about their mental health and struggle to find resources for support. Through “Together for Tomorrow”, TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s message of empathy and resilience creates more space for mental health conversations and helps equip young people with the skills and confidence they need to thrive.
“Through our musical journey, we have learnt that expressing emotions is a sign of strength. Now, with our campaign with UNICEF, we want to help create a safe and inclusive space for youth to express their emotions freely. TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s campaign with UNICEF will officially begin in 2026, so we ask for lots of love and support from you guys as we take this meaningful step forward. Thank you,” said the leader of TXT Soobin.
By starting the campaign next year, TOMORROW X TOGETHER has plans to connect with fans through a range of online and offline activities, including fundraising efforts to support children in need. Through the partnership, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and BIGHIT MUSIC labels will contribute US$1.4 million to UNICEF over the next two years, with plans to raise additional funds through fan engagement and other activities.
As TXT continue their journey through music, the message that they convey is one of the sole reasons why people can get through their day to live up to another journey for tomorrow, because there is no health without mental health.
